1 year from today is 18 May 2025, a Sunday. Counting forward by year is usually simple. Anything under a decade can usually be done on one hand; however, remember that years will change the final date depending on leap years. Since today is Saturday, the calculation could be adjusted for work days. But If you just want the overall days, nothing will change. I usually just start with days of the week then move onto months. We’re 13 days from the end of May, so being in the middle of of the month, 1 days will remain in May and we don’t need to worry about adjusting months or years.. From there, we can then count forward by year and adjust for the fiscal calendar to get our 18 May 2025.
All of our day calculators are measured and QA'd by our engineer. Read more about the Git process here. But here's how adding 1 year to today's date gets calculated on each visit:
Sunday Sunday May 18, 2025 is the 138 day of the year or 37.81% through 2025.
1 year is Sunday May 18, 2025 or could be Saturday October 11, 2025 if you only want workdays. This calculation takes 1 year and only adds by the number of workdays in a week. Remember, removing the weekend from our calculation will drastically change our original Sunday May 18, 2025 date.
